I’ve been a violinist in the Royal Ballet Sinfonia (Birmingham Royal Ballet) for many years. I’m very happy in an orchestra pit, but have equally enjoyed the opportunity to be one of the onstage violinists in Prokofiev’s incredible score for his ballet, Cinderella and the fiddler in Reade’s Far from the Madding Crowd.

I often lead Paraorchestra and have loved working with Charles Hazelwood on various projects, especially Kraftwerk Re:werk at Womad and Beethoven and Me for Sky Arts.

I’ve depped on shows (violin and viola) including Funny Girl, Crazy for You, The Lion King and Bedknobs & Broomsticks. I’m a reliable and diligent deputy and love the pressure of performing in the West-End!

Most of all, as a musician with eclectic listening taste and an enthusiasm for gigs that has never dwindled, I love playing with bands on stage and in the studio. My musical highlights have been playing at Green Man, All Points East, End of the Road, The Piece Hall and on tour with Father John Misty - and performing with Estilo, for Bear’s Den’s residency at the Union Chapel.
